You can also breathe healthy, salty air away from the sea – in a graduation house. A graduation house is an open-air inhalatorium. The graduation house in the brine spa Bad Dürrnberg was completely renovated in 2013 and can be used free of charge. In addition, it is only a few minutes’ walk from the famous pilgrimage church of Maria Dürrnberg in the publicly accessible spa park.
Salty air has been proven to have a positive effect on the lungs. In the graduation house there are piled up hawthorn branches, which are sprinkled with brine. This creates a health-promoting climate – similar to that on the seashore. Inhalation of the brine improves blood circulation in the respiratory tract.
