Skiing on the Dürrnberg
Small ski area for great fun
Salt and Hallein are simply one, but skiing and the Celtic city are also a good combo. Perhaps you were not aware of this until now, but on the local mountain of Hallein, the Dürrnberg, lies the small, fine ski area Zinkenlifte Hallein/Bad Dürrnberg. This is especially popular with families.
The ski area is located only a few kilometers above Hallein. If you like, a free ski bus will take you from there to the Zinken lifts. For the very first bows, a few turns to kick off the winter season or for those who just like to take it easy, the ski area is the ideal choice. 4 lifts, 8 kilometers of slopes: This is skiing pleasure away from the crowds – with the best piste conditions.
