Watzmann – Hochkönig Tour

The Watzmann-Hochkönig mountain bike tour, with its many views, offers everything you could wish for in terms of variety of bike paths and nature. One stage of it leads from Golling to Hintersee near Ramsau. Here, pure refreshment awaits in the clear mountain lake. Or perhaps with a cool cyclist?

You can cycle along the Tauern Cycle Path as far as Hallein. The following section to Bad Dürrnberg and the Zinkenkogel is very steep. But the subsequent ride along the Rossfeld panorama road rewards you with magnificent views of the mighty mountain massif around the Hoher Göll and into the Salzach valley. On old forest roads, the route then leads to the idyllically situated Scharitzkehlalm – and after a rest, back down to the dream waters of Königssee and Hintersee.
