Hofbräu Kaltenhausen is the oldest brewery in the province of Salzburg and the oldest wheat beer brewery in Austria. Beer has been brewed here since 1475. The associated Bräustübl was opened in 1902 and has been a popular meeting place for beer lovers ever since.
