The OptimaMed Health Resort St. Josef is located in the romantic spa town of Bad Dürrnberg near Hallein at an altitude of around 800 metres above sea level. From up here, the view sweeps over the magnificent mountain landscape all the way to the city of Salzburg. Ideal conditions for recovery and convalescence! The modernised former monastery itself has a very special spiritual ambience. The chapel, built in 1959 according to an idea by the famous spa guest Clemens Holzmeister, is considered an architectural jewel. The health resort is also home to Austria’s first indoor brine pool.
