For generations, the oldest distillery in the province of Salzburg has been dedicated to the production of fine spirits, whisky, gin and rum. The newest “frontrunner” from the Guglhof house: a TauernRogg single cask whiskey made from the traditional Salzburg Tauernrye, which is grown in alpine regions.

From the choice of fully ripe, preferably old fruit varieties to the complex distillation, many work steps with attention to detail are necessary for a literally excellent result. The jurors of the “Falstaff Spirits Trophy” voted the Guglhof distillery a model company and awarded it the title “Master distiller of the year” for the eighth time in the Vienna Hofburg.
